The last week has been a busy one! Not only did we start playing games, but we've also been busy getting our field ready for the season.
On Saturday, we installed Put-In-Cups in our fence displaying our mascot and name. The installation required plenty of patience and team work to perfect, but the girls persevered. The end product made enduring the cold morning worth it!
Tuesday, unexpectedly, brought our first home game after a rain out at Iroquois West was rescheduled to be played at home. The Bearcats came out with their first win 19-0!
We spent some time at the end of the week placing new clay on our field after damage from flooding last year. The girls all got their hands dirty and helped the process.
On Monday, 3/25/19 we played our second home game and won against a strong PBL team, 8-4. Tuesday, 3/26/19 we played our first road game against St. Anne. Although, it wasn't easy, we battled and came out on top 4-3 to get our third win of the season. We're currently 3-0 as we head into conference play at the end of this week against Westville.
